Talking Heads Series: Work Package 3 - Net Zero Futures Platform

This Talking Heads interview, held on 30th July 2025, offers a deep dive into one of its most ambitious and integrative components: Work Package 3 (WP3) – the Net Zero Futures Platform. In conversation with Matthew Orman, WP3 co-leads Star Molteno and Professor Paula Harrison unpack the aims, methods and progress of WP3 so far.

The Net Zero Futures Platform co-develops shared, plausible pathways for land use transformation across the UK’s four nations, grounded in real-world feasibility and designed to deliver benefits for Net Zero, nature and people. WP3 sits alongside the Hub’s evidence synthesis (WP1) and stakeholder engagement (WP2) efforts—bringing together research, policy, and practice in a future-facing, participatory process.
