Interim Report and Workshop Findings from the UK Farming Community - Work Package One

This 17‑minute presentation provides an overview of the LUNZ Grasslands interim findings from engagement with the UK farming community. It summarises insights gathered through three workshops held in 2025, focusing on grassland management practices that can support national progress towards net zero emissions.

The presentation is organised into two sections:

• Policy context — A review of current agricultural and climate legislation and policy across the four devolved nations.
• Workshop findings — Evidence from farmers, land managers and industry partners on the feasibility, resource needs and long‑term sustainability of reduced net emissions grassland practices.

These edited highlights reflect the core messages of the full interim report and inform the next phases of our work with stakeholders across the UK land‑use sector.
