Grassland Matters - a Demonstration Farm series
Organised by Innovation for Agriculture, our Demonstration Farm series brings together farmers, land managers and others involved in the agricultural sector to visit selected farms participating in the LUNZ Grasslands project.
Each event combines a guided farm walk with open discussion, showcasing how participating farms are implementing sustainable grassland management. The events explore the practical approaches, methods and resources being used to improve productivity, reduce reliance on external inputs and support long-term soil health.
Whether you are a farmer looking for practical ideas, a researcher interested in on-farm innovation, or a policymaker exploring the realities of implementing sustainable farming practices, the series provides valuable insights from farms across the project.
The events highlight opportunities to:
- See what has worked in practice on participating farms.
- Explore grazing and grassland management approaches across different farming systems.
- Learn how farmers are improving soil health, reducing inputs and building resilience.
- Hear open discussions and knowledge exchange between farmers and industry professionals.
If you couldn’t attend the events in person, the good news is that the entire series is being recorded and made available online.
