Ran’s role at LUNZ involves investigating how pasture diversity and plant functional composition influence ruminant nutrient utilisation, productivity, and emissions. More specifically, she is responsible for assessing the emissions from suckler cross-bred beef animals grazing in pastures of different compositions and measuring enteric CH4 emissions, N outputs in feces and urine, growth rates, and feed efficiency.
