Professor Paula Harrison

Prof Paula Harrison (UKCEH) is a Principal Natural Capital Scientist at the UK Centre for Ecology & Hydrology and is an internationally recognised expert in scenarios and integrated models, specialising in the use of participatory approaches for supporting evidence-based decision-making. She has led numerous large, transdisciplinary projects, including coordinating three EU projects. She actively contributes to broader society by involving a wide range of stakeholders within her co-produced research and through leadership roles in major intergovernmental platforms, including as co-chair of the Intergovernmental science-policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES) Nexus Assessment and as a previous member of the IPBES Task Force on Scenarios and Models.
