Lee-Ann Sutherland is director of the Hutton’s International Land Use Study Centre, with a remit to build capacity for just transition in land use. She pioneered the ‘triggering changel model of farmer decision making, underpinning research on agricultural knowledge and innovation systems. She has a particular interesting new entrants to farming and sat on Scottish Government’s Women in Agriculture Taskforce. She has extensive experience in leading transdisciplinary research projects, as PI on the H2020 PLAID and FP7 FarmPath projects, and leadership of multidisciplinary work in Scottish Government and European Commission work.
