Khadiza Begum

Khadiza is a Research Associate at the University of Cambridge, working on the UKRI-funded JUSTLANZ project to model greenhouse gas emissions and soil carbon dynamics in UK grassland and livestock systems. She earned her PhD in Environmental Science from the University of Aberdeen in 2018, following an MSc from Brunel University. Her previous roles include research fellowships at the Universities of Aberdeen and Portsmouth, and a modelling role in the carbon credit industry. Her work spans the UK, Europe, and South Asia, focusing on ecosystem modelling, nitrogen budgets, and sustainable agriculture.
