Jack is head of Soil Informatics at Cranfield University and leads fundamental and policy-relevant research on the interactions of soil health, land use and climate change, with outputs being used for decision making in government. Experience of co-developing policy in transdisciplinary teams during a policy secondment in Welsh Government. Current President of the British Society of Soil Science and founder of Soapbox Science Milton Keynes a public engagement platform promoting researchers identifying as women in science.
