University of Leeds
David is Associate Professor of Sustainability and the Environment at the University of Leeds. After his PhD at Cambridge investigating landscape scale solutions to supporting both biodiversity and food production, he worked with Prof David Tilman at the University of California Santa Barbara to understand the global impacts of food demand on land use, biodiversity, and the wider environment. His research focuses on understanding how we can feed everybody without messing up biodiversity and the environment too badly, and on ensuring that research is useful for decision makers.
