Cheng Wen is a Research Fellow in the Sustainability Research Institute, University of Leeds. With a background in environmental science and environmental economics, his research focuses on understanding human behaviour and decision-making to support sustainable development. He has extensive experience working on interdisciplinary projects across developed and developing countries, covering topics such as sustainable farming, climate services, renewable energy access, and public perceptions of environmental change. His current research focusses on using interdisciplinary approaches to investigate how improved farmer awareness of soil and water quality influences behaviour change, the adoption of best management practices, and ultimately the reduction of diffuse agricultural pollution.
