Anna is an economic and policy consultant in the Food and Enterprise team in SAC Consulting. She joined the Rural Business Unit at SAC in January 2019, working on a variety of economic and rural development studies, the impact of Brexit and changing subsidies on Scottish agriculture, and contributing to SAC’s Scottish Rural Development Programme (SRDP) funded publications, Agribusiness News and the Farm Management Handbook.
Since moving to the Food and Enterprise team she’s continued much of this work, alongside specialising in low carbon and circular economies and emerging carbon markets. She also work on policy development, including coordinating SAC Consulting’s specialist advice to Scottish Government on a range of relevant issues or programmes within Scottish agriculture.
Anna is part of the Agrecalc team, SAC’s farm carbon and resource footprinting tool. Her role involves developing the tool for a range of users, and delivering carbon services and advice to public and private sectors.
