About the LUNZ Hub

The objective of the Land Use for Net Zero (LUNZ) Hub is to equip UK policy-makers, industry, civil society and communities with the evidence they need to drive transformational change in land use.

The LUNZ Hub will not generate new research itself, but will provide rapid access to findings from the best available, established and novel research from the consortium partners, synthesising and sharing knowledge across disciplines in easily accessible formats.

The Hub, consisting of a consortium of 34 organisations, including research institutes, farmers groups, advisory services, non-governmental and arts organisations, is led by the James Hutton Institute and the University of Leicester. We were awarded a government-funded grant in November 2023, and much work has already commenced. See the links to the right for more information of how the Hub is structured and governed, as well as a full list of consortium partners.
