Jack is the Head of Agriculture, Health and Environment Department at Natural Resources Institute, University of Greenwich.

Jack’s research expertise is in soil health, soil data and land use decisions working closely at the science-policy interface with a variety of stakeholders from farmers to policymakers. Her experience includes co-developing policy in transdisciplinary teams during a policy secondment in Welsh Government.

Past President and trustee of the British Society of Soil Science. Member of the Natural England Science Advisory Committee. Founder of Soapbox Science Milton Keynes a public engagement platform promoting researchers identifying as women in science.
