Innovation for Agriculture
Evi is the Head of Policy and Social at IfA with a remit to explore the societal issues and their associated challenges surrounding agriculture, more specifically in the areas of innovation and knowledge exchange, digital transition in agriculture and long-term sustainability in land use and the food sector. She is also responsible for research and practice information gathering, analysis and synthesis to inform policy and for exploring opportunities and developing relationships with research international bodies who are active in IfA’s USPs. Before joining IfA, Evi was Head of ‘Quality of Life in Rural Areas and Diversification of Rural Economy’ and Head of ‘Knowledge Transfer and Training’ Units, in the Managing Authority of the Greek Ministry of Rural Development & Food and consultant to the Junior Minister of the Ministry of Environment, Public Works and Planning. She also draws experience and expertise from being a Researcher in the Standardisation, Inspection and Certification Authority of Greek Agriculture and Research Fellow in the Agricultural University of Athens.
