Prof Martin Phillips (FRSA, FRGS) is Professor of Human Geography and Director of the Centre for Critical and Creative Geographies at the University of Leicester. He is a member of the Programme Coordination Team of the UKRI Landscape Decisions SPF Programme and the Advisory Board of the UKRI Treescapes Programme, as well as Chair of the Rural Geography Research Group of the Royal Geographical Society, Research Director of Rural England, and CI on ‘Self-learning digital twins for sustainable land management’ (AI for net zero, £2.5M). He has extensive experience of inter- and trans-disciplinary research projects and is a member of the Peer Review Panels/Colleges of both the AHRC and ESRC.
