Dr Sarah Buckingham is a principal soil scientist at SLR Consulting, with extensive experience in delivering sustainable soil management services across research, governmental and consultancy sectors. Sarah has a research background in soil health, regenerative agriculture and agricultural greenhouse gas mitigation and recently worked with Scottish Government to develop a soil route map providing an overarching strategy for delivering improved soil security across Scotland.  In her consultancy role, Sarah delivers soil resource and land capability surveys, soil impact assessments as well as sustainable soil management and restoration planning. Sarah also supports wider services relating to effective soil management for nature-based solutions, environmental net gain and nature-related disclosures.
