Tom Finch
Senior Conservation Scientist
RSPB
Tom works for the RSPB as a Senior Conservation Scientist, where he uses tools such as scenario modelling to understand the impact of land use on nature, climate and food. After completing a PhD in bird conservation ecology at the University of East Anglia, he went on to work on an RSPB/University of Cambridge study comparing land sharing and land sparing in England. More recently, he led the RSPB’s Land Use Scenarios Project, which modelled the consequences for birds and food production of alternative net zero land use pathways.
