  • Open access

Organised by the LUNZ Hub FOOTPRINT project.

Date & Time: 3 March 2026, 14:00–15:30

This webinar presents research from the FOOTPRINT project, in which 100 farms, three GHG tool companies, researchers and land agents across four UK nations are collaborating to create a scalable auditable process to sustainably and equitably reduce GHG emissions. First it explores the challenges to GHG tool harmonisation arising from the complex GHG ecosystem in which tools have evolved to serve different purposes for government, supply chain and farmers.  Following this the project’s approach to farm level GHG data collection and analysis, tool alignment and methodology is presented. The webinar concludes with insights on capacity needs across the tool user community by improving the tools, providing support and practice recommendations and enabling learning.

The speakers are:

  • Paul Burgess, Professor of Sustainable Agriculture and Agroforestry, Cranfield University
  • Julie Ingram, Professor of Innovation for Sustainable Agriculture, CCRI, University of Gloucestershire
