Claire Morgan-Davies

Dr Claire Morgan-Davies is a reader in livestock systems at SRUC. She has been involved in participatory research for the past 25 years, particularly with sheep farmers and land-users in extensive systems, looking at resilience, efficiency and best practices uptake. At the moment, she is leading an H2020 EU project on use of technology for small ruminants’ welfare monitoring, and is part of a Horizon Europe project on technology for farmers and land-users in rangeland areas. She is member of the EAAP Working Group on Mountain Livestock Farming and is vice-president of the EAAP Commission on Precision Livestock Farming.

In LUNZ Grasslands, Claire is involved in WP2, leading the Scottish sheep cluster.
