Scalable & auditable farm greenhouse gas accounting: an insight event

This is a new exciting three year project (2024-2027) that aims to develop and evaluate a scalable auditable farm- and food-level greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting framework for UK land use. The project involves five research institutions, three GHG calculator companies, and Savills.

Who should attend?

This is an in-person insight meeting for stakeholders within travelling distance of Harper Adams. It is for farmers, land managers, advisers, land agents, regional stakeholders from policy, and supply chain representatives who are interested/involved in greenhouse gas assessment on UK farms.

Aims:

•to provide information about the objectives and scope of the LUNZ Footprint project

•to provide an overview of how the three major farm GHG calculators are working together

•to engage the farming and wider stakeholder community to understand different perspectives and support the development of a robust workable framework
