Soil Health and Carbon Dynamics Topic Advisory Group

The Soil Health and Carbon Dynamics TAG has four priority objectives:

  1. Collate evidence reviews on soil health and carbon dynamics
  2. Lead workshops to define healthy soil systems
  3. Assess new and novel indicators
  4. Produce a gap analysis of soil monitoring tools and technologies

The first year of the TAG will tackle priority objectives 1 and 2, collating evidence reviews on soil health and carbon dynamics and leading workshops to define healthy soil systems, as well as producing a series of talking heads to explain and ‘myth-bust’ common misconceptions and contentious topics in soils research.

UPDATES:

June 2024

This June, the co-leads invited all those who have joined the TAG community to meet online to keep members abreast of our progress and to provide an opportunity for the group to share their own ideas for shaping our work, ask questions, provide feedback and hold a wider discussion.
